Lloyd began his relationship with resort property in Michigan by purchasing the oldest real estate firm in Harbor Springs in 1985 after moving with his family to Northern Michigan from Southern California. In 1995, Lloyd took his resort expertise to Bay Harbor as Associate Broker during the development and building of the unbelievable Bay Harbor waterfront community, which features many lifestyle opportunities within twenty-five distinct neighborhoods along five miles of magnificent Lake Michigan shoreline. At that time, Lloyd’s listing and sales skills earned him the admiration and respect of many Bay Harbor owners and the recognition of being one of the top real estate agents in Bay Harbor.
 
In 2002, Lloyd became the exclusive rental management company for The Cliffs Condominiums, one of the first neighborhoods to break ground in Bay Harbor. Lloyd was the original listing agent of all 108 Cliffs Condominiums.
